I recently dined at Istanbul Bay on Staten Island and was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere that immediately sets a relaxing tone. The service was excellent - attentive and friendly. The food was the real star though, with unique dishes that were bursting with flavor. And the cheesecake? Simply divine. I wholeheartedly recommend Istanbul Bay for a memorable dining experience

Amazing spot for Turkish food. The mixed grill was delicious, as was the bread with the hummus. Afterwards I had the chocolate souffle and Turkish tea which were both also incredible. The service was also top notch as was the seating arrangements. I especially loved the patio outside which created a great ambience and atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit!

Had an incredible dining experience at Istanbul Bay in Staten Island! Halil went above and beyond, making fresh tea for us and ensuring that we had an amazing time. His hospitality and attention to detail made the experience even more special. 12/31/25 Have gotten food to go from here a bunch of times. Overall they have good food. My fav being the meat doner that comes with pilav rice and a great salad. What sucks is that every time they have delivered, they forget to add the requested sauces on the side. Manti was a disaster as there was barely a touch of meat in there and all pasta. Sebastian cheese cake was really good. The large portion of the baby lamb skewers looks very small at just 8 small pieces. Babganoush was good as well, but ezme is lacking as it was dry and not as flavorful (maybe old?). I will update when things get better and they stop messing up my order. Update 1/6/25 Adana platter was good. Appreciate them replying to my previous review and wanting to fix things. Update 1/8/25 Spoke to them regarding my unpleasant exp and they made it right. Props to them for the effort. Amazing doner platter. My co-worker also loved his kebab wrap. Doner is a solid deal with pilav, salad, and bread. Order came quick and the food was still warm. They took care of the sauces and extras. Thank you Yusuf and Emre.

Stopped in to grab a bite while passing through Staten Island and were so pleasantly surprised by this place! We were seated in their beautiful garden area, which was cool and comfortable—even on an 80-degree day. The atmosphere was such a refreshing escape. From there, the surprises just kept coming. The freshly baked bread they brought out was incredible—warm, crusty, and clearly made with care. Our meals were absolutely delicious, with perfectly balanced seasoning and generous portions. You can really taste the quality in every bite. We finished off with the kunefe for dessert, and it was phenomenal—crispy, melty, and just the right amount of sweet. Highly recommend trying it! The service made the whole experience even better. Our server Onur was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations that made our meal even more enjoyable. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back. If you're anywhere near Staten Island, you have to visit :)

This place is beyond amazing! The food is top tier quality, the service and ambience is above and BEYOND! Everyone is EXTREMELY welcoming and pleasant. They make you feel very comfortable. Our server, Alper, was extremely awesome and attended to us very frequently! The decorations and layout of the entire restaurant is beyond impeccable! They even gave us small dessert on the house! We love this restaurant and will definitely be returning again!

This place was a great experience. People are very nice and attentive to tables. They have like a covered area in the back which is cute and cozy. The meat (grill) here is very tasty and comes in good portions. Thank you, will definitely come back!
